AyrSquare is a product of Ayrshire Local, built around the same idea: helping people discover and support the businesses and organisations on their doorstep.
Ayrshire Local is the main directory. AyrSquare offers a visual way to explore local listings, one square at a time. Square Go is included with an Ayrshire Local Pro membership: simply claim your existing square and we’ll do the rest. For everyone else, a paid Square Go subscription is managed separately.

Before you claim your square.
Is Square Go included with Ayrshire Local Pro?
Yes. If you already have an Ayrshire Local Pro membership, your Square Go card is included at no extra cost. Simply claim your existing square using the email registered with Ayrshire Local, and we’ll link your included membership. You don’t need to start a separate £1/month subscription.
My business is already on Ayrshire Local. Do I need a new square?
Your square may already be on the Square. Open it and choose “I Own This” to start an ownership request, or use the “Already registered on Ayrshire Local?” link in the claim window. Our team reviews ownership requests before linking a square to your account. Please avoid creating a duplicate square.
What happens to the Ayrshire Local sync when I claim a square?
Live syncing stops when ownership is claimed, so changes you make on AyrSquare stay yours. You manage your square from your AyrSquare dashboard.
When do I pay for Square Go?
Ayrshire Local Pro members have Square Go included, so there’s no separate subscription. For a new paid Square Go membership, you save your payment details after submitting the form. Nothing is charged at that stage. Your £1 monthly subscription starts only when your square is approved. If it is rejected, nothing is charged.
Can I cancel my Square Go membership?
Yes. Open Billing & subscription in your dashboard to manage your payment details, view invoices or cancel at the end of your paid month. Deleting your square does not cancel the subscription; manage cancellation in Billing & subscription.
Can I have more than one square?
Each business account can have one current square. If you delete your old square, you can submit a replacement. An existing eligible Square Go membership can cover the replacement without another subscription.
Is a place on the Square guaranteed to bring enquiries?
Your square helps people discover and share your business. We do not promise enquiries, sales or a particular number of views. Your dashboard shows recorded interactions as people use the Square.
